Recipe History: This recipe appeared as one of the most requested by readers in the Arizona Republic in December 1992. it intrigued me that there is no flour in this recipe! It makes 100 4-inch cookies!
Ingredients:
12 eggs
2 lbs brown sugar
4 cups white sugar
1 tblsp vanilla
1 tblsp light corn syrup
8 tsps baking soda
1 lb butter (not margarine)
3 lbs peanut butter
18 cups oatmeal
1 lb M&Ms
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Use a very large pan or roaster to mix ingredients in the order listed by hand.
Drop dough by ice cream scoopfuls on ungreased baking sheets.
Flatten each cookie with spatula.
Bake for 12 minutes...do not overbake.
Tip: Recipe can be halved.
