Recipe History: Goes way back!!! We have this dip on our tables lots of holidays and parties. It disappears quickly!
Ingredients:
2 cans Fritos Bean Dip
3-4 Avocados
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon lemon juice
dash pepper
Green Onions (1 bunch)
3-4 tomatoes
1 small can olives, sliced
Grated cheddar or cheddar and monterray Jack Cheese
Directions:
- Spread Bean dip on flat plate
- Mash together avocados, sour cream, lemon juice and pepper and spread over bean dip
- Chop green onions and tomatoes and mix with olives and layer over avocado layer.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Cover and refrigerate for several hours.
Tip: I have tried this with refried beans spiced up with salsa, which was okay, but not as good as using the bean dip.
