Recipe History: I always rely on this old Better Homes and Gardens recipe for turkey stuffing.
Ingredients:
8 cups dried bread cubes
6 tblsps chopped onion
3 cups chopped celery
2/3 cup melted margarine
2 tsps salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
Sage to taste
1 14-oz can chicken broth
Directions:
Mix ingredients in a large bowl.
Add 1-2 cups warm chicken broth, mixing thoroughly.
This recipe can be personalized with mushrooms, oysters, sausage, etc.
Stuffs a 10-15 lb. turkey.
