Recipe History:
This easy barbecue sauce is good on chicken, ribs, venison and javelina
Ingredients:
1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tblsps sugar
2 tblsps Worcestershire sauce
1-1.2 tsp mustard
1-1/2 tsp sslt
1/4 tsp pepper
2-3 lbs chicken/meat
Directions:
In pint jar, combine all ingredients except chicken /meat.
Tighten lid and shake well.
Brush both sides with sauce.
Arrange skin or fat side up on rack in shallow pan.
Bake at 375 1 to 1-1/2 hours, basting every 15 minutes.
Turn chicken/meat twice.
Serves at least 8
