I love this low-calorie sauce!
Ingredients:
2 tblsps corn starch
2 tblsps sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ginger
2 tblsps vinegar
1 tsp soy sauce
1 cup crushed pineapple in its own juice
Directions:
Mix corn starch, sugar, salt, and ginger in saucepan.
Stir in vinegar and soy sauce, then the pineapple.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mix comes to a boil.
Cook another 5 minutes
Yield: Makes 1 cup of sweet/sour sauce. One tablespoon = 20 calories.
