Recipe History:
My good friend Wanda Weir gave me her recipe for the best baked beans years ago!
Ingredients:
2 onions
1 lb bacon
2 lb can Pork and Beans, including juice
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tblsps molasses
2 tblsps Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 tsp cloves (optional)
Directions:
Cut up both onions; dice bacon, and fry with onions. Drain.
Add to all other ingredients and bake in reheated oven at 325 uncovered for 1 hour.
Tip: If you want to use the microwave, just cover and cook on "Roast" for 10-12 minutes.
