Recipe History: I got this recipe from a friend ten years ago and it is our family's favorite hot dip. We warm it in the small dip crock pot. It is SO easy and everyone who has eaten it LOVES it. The whole party ends up standing around it, dipping in and raving over it. Shan and Stacy wanted me to name it this so they can find it.
Ingredients:
1 stick margarine or butter (can be reduced by half if desired)
1/2 pound Velvetta cheese
1 - 8 ounce package cream cheese
1 small can green chilis
1 diced onion
Directions:
- Melt Margarine in pan
- Saute onion and green chilis in margarine until onion soft
- Add to dip crock pot or pan
- Add Velvetta and cream cheese cut in cubes
- Heat on low, stirring occasionally until cheese melted and mixture blended.
Serve with Tortilla chips!
