Abondigas Soup

Recipe History: Sallie gave me this recipe, and I love it!

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 8-oz can tomato sauce
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup corn kernals
1 can green beans OR 1 4-oz can diced chiles
3 potatoes, sliced thinly
2 tsps garlic salt
2 tsps onion powder
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Roll ground beef into small meatballs (meat only...no filling)
Place in stock pot.
Add enough water and the tomato sauce to cover the meatballs.
Heat water until boiling.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and simmer 1 to 1-1/2 hours.

This is a low calorie, delicious soup!
