Schantz Sausage Goulash

Recipe History: This is a recipe Merv and I enjoy occasionally as "empty nesters."

Ingredients:
1 lb. link sausage, sliced ( we like Hillshire Farms hot spicy jalapeno sausage best)
3 tblsps olive oil
3-4 russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 4-oz can diced green chiles
1 15-oz can diced tomatoes
1 8-oz can tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Brown sausage in electric skillet with oil.
Add all other ingredients.
Cover and cook at medium-low heat at least 20 minutes
